Yearbooks were annually-published materials available for free in most shops that stocked the Thomas Wooden Railway range. Whilst a booklet similar to a yearbook was first published in 1993, the first official volume was published in 1995.

There had been eighteen volumes of the yearbook published by Learning Curve up until 2011. Due to TOMY's purchase of the range, and the plan to again sell it to Fisher-Price, a 2012 yearbook was not published. In 2013, the yearbook resumed publication after Fisher-Price began production of the line. The final volume was published in 2016.

  • The 2004 yearbook features a flipbook animation of Thomas in the lower corner of each page.
  • The prototype 2005 yearbook cover does not feature Bill and Ben and has a variety of different text elements in addition to having other elements placed slightly differently.
  • The 2006 yearbook has two editions with the first showing the cancelled Holiday Tree Station and the second showing its replacement, the Holiday Tunnel.
  • The 2008 yearbook features an image of a Take-Along brand Madge in place of her Thomas Wooden Railway one.
    • The UK yearbook also features a Take-Along Whiff.
  • The prototype 2010 yearbook cover only features Thomas on the Racing Down the Rails Set as opposed to Thomas and Percy on the Transfer Yard Set.

  • On the My Custom Engine page of the 2015 yearbook, the Helpful Steamie and Spunky Steamie have their names swapped.
  • Yearbooks often included items which were not found in their year's companion pamphlets. However, they did not include many items which were either exclusive to certain retailers or only available in other countries.
