The Sodor Search & Rescue is a destination that was introduced in 2013. The bottom level has a water refilling station and two lanes of track, with one going to the side. The top level has a tunnel with sounds that can be activated by pressing buttons on the roof.

Includes

  • Sodor Search & Rescue Center
  • Water Tanker
  • 1- Green Ascending Track
  • 1- Male Track to Surface Ramp
  • Go, Go Thomas! DVD sampler (featuring episodes Race to the Rescue and James to the Rescue) (United States and Canada only)

Trivia

  • The prototype model contained two pieces of ascending track and did not include the Track to Surface Ramp.
  • The Water Tanker was altered so that the hose of the water refilling station could fit inside where the tanker's dome would usually be.
  • The building is heavily influenced by Fisher-Price's Take-n-Play version of the model, having the same over and under layout, as well as green ascending track.
  • Models sold outside of the United States and Canada did not include the DVD, as it was produced with a Region 1 DVD code, which would render it unplayable in countries that had Region codes 2-6.
