The Sawmill with Dumping Depot is a destination. A log car can be pulled onto a platform and flipped on its side by turning the knob to dump the log down the sawmill. Pushing the lever moves the log towards a saw and cuts it in half before loading it into two waiting cars. The end of the sawmill features two male connectors to add track. It includes two Ascending Track pieces, Henry's Forest Log Car, and two Sawmill Logs held together with wooden pegs and magnets. It was first released in Clickity-Clack track, then in Traction Rail in 2002.

- The prototype sawmill log seen in the 1998 yearbook image does not have the notches that help the saw split the log.
