Railroad Track
Railroad Track from the Straight & Curved Expansion Pack

Railroad Track (also known as Traction Rails) is the third generation design of wooden track introduced in the Thomas Wooden Railway in 2002 to succeed and replace Clickity-Clack Track

Deviating from the Clickity-Clack Track design, Railroad Track featured painted railroad ties. Railroad Track also integrated etching in the recesses of the wood to assist battery-powered engines' traction.

On the reverse side of straight track pieces, a flat surface for Roadway Track, with striping down the middle mimicking lane marks. Curved, ascending, and switch road pieces are double-sided, much like their railroad counterparts.
