The Lead Paint Crisis was a event that took place between January 2005 through September 2007. It refers to the erroneous production of certain engines in China. Testing revealed paint of several colors used by the range contained lead. Lead (Pb), a highly poisonous heavy-metal, posed an acute threat to people using the affected merchandise and necessitated a recall. The models were recalled in what became the biggest recall in Learning Curve history. Over 1.7 million models were checked for lead.
