The Lead Paint Crisis was a event that took place between January2005 through September 2007. It refers to the erroneous production of certain engines in China. Testing revealed that paint of several colors used by the range contained lead. Lead (Pb), being a highly poisonous heavy-metal, posed an extreme threat to persons using the affected merchandise, thereby necesitating a recall. The models were recalled in what became the biggest recall in Learning Curve history. Over 1.7 million models were checked for lead.
