The Island of Sodor Playtable is a playtable to be used with a playboard such as the Island of Sodor Playboard or 2-in-1 Playboard. It features illustrations of various characters on the sides of the table, and a shelf of track between the legs which can either be used to connect more track or as storage for vehicles.

- The prototype version features a different background landscape on the sides with illustrations of Thomas without a caboose, Percy pulling several vans, and James pulling S.C. Ruffey, a Milk, Fuel and Tar Tanker, a coal truck, a brake van, and a van. The illustrations of S.C. Ruffey and the tankers are taken from the Island of Sodor Wooden Playtable.
- Illustrations of Thomas pulling Annie and Clarabel with a caboose, Percy pulling two Mail Coaches, James pulling two vans, a Water Tanker and a Bubble Tanker, Diesel pulling Tar, Fuel, and Water Tankers, and either Iron 'Arry or Iron Bert pulling a Dieselworks truck and two ladle trucks can be seen on the sides of the playtable.
