Fisher-Price is a toy company owned by Mattel that produces toys for children and infants. The company is known for producing toys such as the Little People range and Geotrax, along with licensed products such as Disney.

In late 2009, HiT Entertainment named Fisher-Price as the master toy license rights holder for the Thomas and Friends property and following this, they acquired all international Thomas merchandise lines with the exception of Thomas Wooden Railway, which remained under ownership of Learning Curve. They have since produced the Thomas Push Along (formerly Adventures and Take-n-Play), Motorized (formerly TrackMaster), My First (formerly Preschool), and MINIS product ranges. In 2011, the company purchased the rights to the Thomas Wooden Railway from Tomy following their acquisition of Learning Curve and produced the range from 2013 until 2017, when the line was discontinued and replaced with the Thomas Wood range.

With the discontinuation of Thomas Wood in 2021, Fisher-Price has produced a revitalized Thomas Wooden Railway product line, released in 2022.
