- Bertie is the only Battery-Operated road vehicle ever produced.
- Despite having two lamps molded on each side of his face, they do not light up.
- The prototype Battery-Powered Bertie features black wheels and a painted doorway, whereas the final version has gray wheels as well as an unpainted doorway.
