- The original version of the Roundhouse used the same side lithographs as the Special Engine Shed, trimmed slightly to fit.
- The Roundhouse was replaced by the more television accurate Tidmouth Sheds, but the Roundhouse continued to be sold in some countries at the same time.
- Roy Wilson's initials can be seen on the sides of the 1996-2003 Roundhouse.
- The 2004-2010 version of the Roundhouse sometimes came with a free Round-About Action Turntable.
- The Roundhouse is not featured in the 2010 yearbook.
- Despite being available from 1996-2010, the track attached to this destination is plain track instead of Clickity-Clack Track or Traction Rail.
