Diesel is a troublemaking diesel on the island who likes to mess with the steam engines. He has been banished mutiple times from the railway by Sir Topham Hatt. The other engines do not appreciate Diesel's past affairs either, although, Diesel has become nicer in more recent episodes. Diesel was one of the first diesels to be released to the Thomas Wooden Railway line of merchandise.
