Battery-Operated Bertie (first released as Battery-Powered Bertie) is a motorized variant of Bertie that requires one AA battery for operation.

Trivia

  • Bertie is currently the only battery-powered road vehicle ever produced.
  • The prototype had all black wheels, whereas the final model had grey ones instead.
  • Bertie was most likely reintroduced in 2011 as Tomy needed to sell their stock before the line was bought by Mattel in 2013.
